National Great Outdoors Month
June is National Great Outdoors Month and is a great opportunity to explore all the beautiful nature Pennsylvania has to offer. Most of us have probably heard how regular physical activity can help with weight management and, while true, there are so many other added health benefits. For example, regular physical activity can improve your mood and the way you feel about yourself. When you feel down or frustrated, instead of sitting in front of the tv or snacking, grab a water bottle and choose to go out for a walk, run or bike ride. Doing this will not only keep you heart healthy, but will improve your mood and help you better manage stress.
