Join the legions of people discovering the joys of connecting with the water.
Paddling will give you a new perspective on nature and allow you to discover places you never knew existed. Learn kayak, canoe or stand up paddle basics before heading to the calm waters of our parks and open lands.
Paddling includes kayaking, canoeing and even standup paddling on lakes, river or small streams. Everyone seems to have a kayak on the top of their car these days. You can buy a canoe, kayak or stand up paddleboard at your local sports outfitter, but what do you do with it once you buy it? Find a program that teaches you the mechanics or getting it in the water, paddling it and what you do if it tips! Paddling is a beautiful way to experience the outdoors while viewing wildlife or fishing, or just exploring a stream through the woods. There are even opportunities to canoe to a cultural event at a park and ride a bike back to your starting point.
