Hiking/Walking

Take a hike or a walk!  We mean it!  Learn to select hiking shoes, follow trail markers and maybe even scramble over a few rocks in a creek.  Or find a program that will help your family become comfortable in choosing a walk in a hometown park or a land conservancy property in a different region.  Anyone can walk in a natural environment and experience the joys of connecting with greenspace.  Hiking is the most widely used way of experiencing our natural environment at any time of day or night and any time of year.  So go take a hike!
